Saturday

So it is Saturday. D (previously known as Dad/Donny) has gone to Cabela's in Idaho. Greg wanted to show Dominic all the cool stuffed animals they have and D needs to buy ice fishing gear and a few Christmas presents as well. I have been wasting my entire day on the computer. First I had to find pictures for D's presentation that he needs to give on Tuesday. He has put in a bid at the casino to do their landscaping around the hotel and he barely squeaked by as a finalist. They will give him and 3 others 30 minutes or so to present why their company should get the bid. He barely has a chance , but you can't win if you don't try. Keep him in your prayers we could certainly use the money! I have been searching for pictures of the nativity and for videos to use for a lesson I will be teaching so you can listen/view the samples I have found by clicking on the videos. The problem I have found is that most of them are copy righted and I can't download the videos. Or I can download the music but it won't let me burn it to a disc. It is frustrating but I have found one place that allowed me to copy and I have put my own little movie together. So if I can figure out how to upload it I will post that, maybe tommorrow. Leave a comment so that I know you are there!-Bye for now M (previously known as Mom/Melani/Kari/Gramma/Mema...)

Late Night Again

So here it is after 11:00 pm and I am still on the computer. It is all Aprils' fault! Sort of. I won't say much because I do need to get to bed as tommorrow is Black Friday and I always go shopping. Though I never go very early. I will probably get to the stores by 10:00 am which is early for me I usually don't leave the house on an ordinary day until 1:00pm. Hunter has to help a lady move so he has to be there by 9, that sort of forces me out of the house. We had a nice quiet Thanksgiving with no fighting or crying. Dominic (our exchange student from Germany) gave us some thanksgiving gifts and said he was thankful for us letting him stay in our home. He gave us 4-6 different chocolates. A Book about Heidelberg, a beer Stein called a seidel which is his last name, a snow globe and a miniature toy cuckoo clock, I think it is a timer. That was a surprise and very nice of him, I think he meant to give them to us earlier when we were sitting around the table but we forgot to go around the table having everyone say what they were thankful for. So it was brave of him to do it on his own. I guess we didn't do a very good job of showing him a traditional American Thanksgiving. But he is used to us by now. He did laugh when one of the gifts was a beer bottle opener, he said "well I bought them when I did not know where I was going." Dad/Donny just laughed and said he could give it to some guys at work. Well I best get going.
